La biodiversidad microbiana del suelo, un mundo por descubrir

A partir de una conceptualización general de diversidad y biodiversidad, el autor presenta una serie de resúmenes de investigaciones relacionadas con diversas maneras de abordar la diversidad. Presenta además, de forma reiterada, sus inquietudes sobre la dificultad de evaluar la diversidad biológica de los microorganismos, pues los mayores avances científicos de estos estudios se relacionan directamente con la determinación de la diversidad en especies macro.
