Hace diez años, Tabula Rasa no era más que un sueño, una propuesta que se pudo llevar a cabo y convertirla en realidad, gracias al apoyo indiscutible de Miguel García Bustamante, rector de la Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca, quien desde que decidió que la universidad debería tener una serie de publicaciones que presentaran el trabajo investigativo de sus docentes, así como revistas académicas que pusieran a la universidad en contacto con otros centros de investigación, contribuyendo a la creación de redes de conocimiento y a la difusión del mismo, puso su mayor empeño en sacar adelante esta revista, que ahora es una de las publicaciones de mayor reconocimiento en el ámbito de las ciencias sociales en América Latina.Este proyecto h... Por otra parte, desde sus inicios, esta publicación ha contado con una serie de colaboradores permanentes, entre ellos por supuesto, los miembros de los comités editoriales y científcos, sus traductoras y diFerentes asistentes editoriales, pero debemos señalar y agradecer especialmente la gran colaboración de Ramón Grosfoguel de la Universidad de California, Berkeley, y de Ulrich Oslender, de la Universidad de Glasgow. Un ejemplo de esto es que este número ha sido armado por Ramón en conjunto con Julia Suárez-Krabbe, de Roskilde Universitet, y Montserrat Galcerán Huguet, de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Ahora bien, es el momento de agradecer a otras dos personas que han estado al frente de la publicación desde el primer número, quienes han sido mis compañeros de trabajo constante en el desarrollo de esta revista; primero que todo, mi amigo Eduardo Restrepo, de la Universidad Javeriana, quien se ha echado al hombro (por decir lo menos) este proyecto editorial y como coeditor de Tabula Rasa ha sido fundamental para el posicionamiento de la revista. En segundo lugar, la persona que le ha dado la identidad visual, tanto en la versión impresa como la electrónica, Johanna Orduz, quien ha creado un espacio amable para su lectura. Son estas las personas que han construido Tabula Rasa: Miguel, Ramón, Ulrich, Johanna, y principalmente Eduardo, y quiero reconocer mi gratitud y profundo respeto por el trabajo de cada uno de ellos, así como mi amistad y cariño. Esto, que suena a despedida, tal vez sea así, o tal vez no. Miguel, quien ha sido el mentor de la revista, se despide el próximo mes de octubre de la rectoría de la Universidad, después de ocho años de contribuir a la construcción de una institución diferente, que estuviera de cara al futuro y no anclada en el pasado. An example of this is that this number has been armed by Ramón together with Julia Suárez-Krabbe, from Roskilde Universitet, and Montserrat Galcerán Huguet, from the Complutense University of Madrid. Now, it is time to thank two other people who have been at the forefront of the publication since the first issue, who have been my constant coworkers in the development of this magazine; First of all, my friend Eduardo Restrepo, from the Javeriana University, who has thrown his shoulder (to say the least) this editorial project and as co-editor of Tabula Rasa has been instrumental in the positioning of the magazine. Second, the person who has given him the visual identity, both in the printed and electronic versions, Johanna Orduz, who has created a friendly space for reading. These are the people who have built Tabula Rasa: Miguel, Ramón, Ulrich, Johanna, and mainly Eduardo, and I want to acknowledge my gratitude and deep respect for the work of each one of them, as well as my friendship and affection.
