El mercado de las pulgas, tradición sostenible para replicar
Después de aproximadamente dos años de labor de reciclaje en Girardot, en el contexto del Proyecto REMA de la Universidad Piloto de Colombia, Seccional del Alto Magdalena, José Filiberto Quiroga, reciclador de oficio, comenzó a materializar su idea de negocio, complementaria a la recolección y venta de materiales aprovechables: fundar el primer Mercado de las Pulgas del municipio comenzando por abrir su puesto de atención al público. Con el fin de lograr mayor apoyo para esta iniciativa, el proyecto REMA expone sus valores ambientales, socio-culturales y económicos: la riqueza que puede llevar a -y ayudar a conservar en- la región. Es visible su replicabilidad en otras ciudades y municipios de Colombia.
