Instrumentos de evaluación de la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud del adolescente
Objetivo: Describir las aplicaciones de las cinco escalas más usadas en el mundo para la medición de la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud del adolescente, según región y población de estudio, 1963-2013. Métodos: Revisión sistemática de la literatura científica publicada en las últimas cinco décadas. Se aplicó un protocolo de investigación con términos de búsqueda, criterios de inclusión y exclusión, evaluación de la calidad de artículos y extracción de la información; esto lo realizaron dos investigadores para corroborar la reproducibilidad. En los estudios que usaron el PedsQL la mayor proporción correspondió a enfermedades endocrinas y metabólicas (15%), el KIDSCREEN fue la escala más empleada en sanos (24%), CHQ en cuidadores (30%), MOSSF en estudios de intervención (23%) y KINDL en estudios de validación (22%). Conclusión: La investigación permitió generar un perfil de uso de los instrumentos más comunes en la evaluación de la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud del adolescente, en el cual se destaca que el PedsQL predomina en las poblaciones enfermas, el KIDSCREEN en población sana y el CHQ en la versión para padres.
