Las ciudades son producto de numerosos procesos, y como tal tienden a concentrar tanto riesgos como oportunidades. Este texto se enfoca en la presentación del avance de investigación en la construcción de un modelo de intervención urbana sostenible denominado Ecobarrio, aplicable al contexto latinoamericano, resaltando la importancia de las intervenciones locales en el territorio, además de su contextualización de acuerdo con las condiciones propias del entorno; se identifican los principales componentes que rescatan las necesidades locales desde los aspectos económicos, sociales, ecológicos, físico-espaciales y, finalmente, los políticos, con los cuales es posible generar un marco conceptual para la evaluación de la vulnerabilidad del terr...
