PERCEPCIÓN DE LOS ESTUDIANTES EN LA EVALUACIÓN DEL RENDIMIENTO EN ENTORNOS VIRTUALES DE APRENDIZAJE Y LA CRISIS POR COVID-19
Los cambios introducidos por la pandemia por Covid-19 han generado cambios en los procesos educativos en general y en el proceso de evaluación en particular, donde los actores deben recurrir al uso de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) para mediar el proceso de recopilar las evidencias necesarias para medir los rendimientos académicos. El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación fue identificar los problemas que perciben los estudiantes universitarios en la evaluación de su rendimiento, en los entornos virtuales de aprendizaje (EVA), por causa de la Pandemia del Covid_19. Se hace evidente que el mundo no estaba suficientemente preparado para abordar una crisis ocasionada por una pandemia, y organizaciones, tanto públicas como privadas, se han visto afectadas. La educación superior no escapa a dicha realidad, siendo el proceso evaluativo el fundamento de la calidad educativa. Con una metodología cuantitativa y cualitativa y un modelo de investigación de campo, se realizó un instrumento (encuesta) que se aplicó en línea, a una muestra de 160 estudiantes (32 %) de la Universidad Internacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (UNICyT). Los resultados obtenidos permiten identificar que el 61 % de los participantes presentó algún cambio con sus procesos de evaluación de sus asignaturas o módulos debido a la crisis ocasionada por la pandemia por Covid-19, entre los factores que fueron señalados, destacados por los estudiantes están las fallas de Internet cuando llueve y la falta intermitente de Internet. Se concluye que existen varias causas que obstaculizan el proceso evaluativo de los estudiantes en ambientes virtuales de aprendizaje o bajo la modalidad de educación a distancia con nuevas tecnologías.
