Indigeneidad: problemáticas, experiencias y agendas en el nuevo milenio
En este articulo historizamos la idea de indígena y la nocion de indigeneidad. Tratada como relación, y como formacion discursiva, y no como identidad, indigeneidad incluye no sólo a indigenas, sino tambien a quienes se identifican como no indígenas. Considerando las diferencias historicas locales ―articuladas con formaciones de nación-Estado― explicamos la diferencia entre etnicidad e indigeneidad, la porosidad de las fronteras entre quienes se identifican como indígenas y quienes no lo hacen, las condiciones en que ocurre la indigeneidad en la diáspora contemporanea y los problemas del esencialismo indigenizante.
