La cuarta revolución industrial es una etapa caracterizada por el uso de diferentes tecnologías que implica cambios en la manera como trabajan las empresas. En tanto que la emergencia sanitaria ocasionada por la pandemia de COVID-19 determinó el cierre de un importante número de las empresas manufactureras, la industria 4.0 representa una oportunidad para enfrentar la crisis por parte de las pymes bogotanas del sector manufacturero. Besides, only 18.6% of these firms have an investment plan in 4.0 technologies, just 3.9% use specialized software to process their data, and 36.3% of companies do not use any cybersecurity method.
